The Warren Metropolitan Housing Authority (WMHA) is a public nonprofit organization, funded by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development to provide subsidized housing and resident initiative programs for eligible citizens of Warren County. The WMHA operates in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Law. It is the policy of WMHA to house persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, family status, handicap, or national origin.
The WMHA was created on April 4, 1973 and is operated by a five (5) member Board of Commissioners. Two (2) members by the chief executive officer of the most populous city in the territory included in the district, in accordance with the last preceding federal census, one appointee of the chief executive officer for one (1) year term and one appointee of the chief executive officer for five (5) year term. One member shall be appointed by the probate court for an initial term of four (4) years. One member shall be appointed by the court of common pleas for an initial term of three (3) years. One member shall be appointed by the board of county commissioners for an initial term of two (2) years. Thereafter, all members of the authority shall be appointed for five-year terms and vacancies due to expired terms shall be filled by the same appointing powers.

The Board of Commissioners meet on the third Friday of each month at 9:00 A.M. Meetings are held at our Administrative Office located at 990 East Ridge Drive, Lebanon, Ohio 45036. Contact our office for more information on how to attend the scheduled Board Meetings.
There will be no meetings held in July and December.
