Region 14 consist of Butler, Clermont and Warren Counties in the Ohio Balance of State. The Region’s Planning Committee meets quarterly in a collaborative effort to provide services and identify gaps in service to the homeless and at-risk population. The Planning Committee is comprised of homeless shelters, Housing Providers, School Liaisons, Veterans Administration, PATH Outreach and various other community partners.
The WMHA serves as the Lead agency for the Region and administers several Homeless grants awarded by the Ohio Department Service Agency (ODSA), Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These grants provide Rapid Rehousing (RRH) to families and individuals experiencing homelessness and Homeless Prevention to families and persons at risk of losing their housing. WMHA partners with several agencies within the Region to administer the program funds and serve the At-Risk and Homeless population. Region Partners include Interfaith Hospitality Network of Warren County (IHNWC), Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health (GCBH) and Clermont County Community Services (CCCS). WMHA works closely with Butler County shelters to serve the Butler population. These shelters include Hope House Rescue Mission, Center of Hope, Serve City Chosen, Dove House, and Family Promise. WMHA is an Access Pointe for the Region’s Coordinated Entry System conducting initial assessment’s and making referral for service.
